(Young) Head, 61, of Vermillion, SD, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Sanford Vermillion Care Center in Vermillion. She was born December 12, 1948 in Sioux City, IA, to Jesse & Essie (Clapper) Young, the youngest of four children. She graduated from high school in Davenport, IA. Seana lived in Sioux City for most of her life, until moving to Vermillion, SD twelve years ago. She loved animals, especially dogs. She had a strong religious faith. She enjoyed collecting angels and crosses. Seana enjoyed arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, gardening, listening to music, and spending time with friends. Seana is survived by her daughter, Mary Seana Caskey, her brother, Leon, her sister, Mary, and special friends, Sharon and Steve Caskey, and Roberta and Ted Surmack. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Marnita Young. Service: Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Sanford Vermillion Care Center, 125 South Walker Street, Vermillion with Rev. Shelley Aakre officiating. Cemetery: There will be a private family burial at Bluff View Cemetery, Vermillion, SD. |
